Hindi Chenxiang
Hindi Chenxiang is at the pinnacle of Habzoud Hindi oils, it sits as the king of the throne, the highest quality, finest Hindi oil not just released by us but dare I say in recent times. Our AlJannah oils set a benchmark for what true clean Hindis have to offer, though surpassing them is a difficult task, Hindi Chen Xiang has done just that and I don't think another Hindi we release will beat it. Majestical, magical and sublime this is one of the greatest Hindi oils I have smelt without bias.
What makes this oil so special is that it was distilled not in India but in China by the same person who distilled our Xiangshui, the outcome is a Hindi oil which smells clean yet ancient, powerful yet precise, complex yet alluring. This was a micro batch steam distilled from old wild, dark, heavily resinated chips from Assam which have been stored away with a collector in China for a long time. This oil was very costly and is very limited, as the total yield for the project was only 2.5 tolas. Anyone who purchases this oil will surely have something to treasure, it is in a league of its own.
The colour of the oil is a very light yellow with a silky smooth light viscosity, this is a 100% clean oil and super addictive, complex and majestical. Off the dip stick it feels like the aroma is emanating like light shining through a dark tunnel, the piercing vapours of ancient Hindi Agarwood! The initial floral kinamic blast is otherworldly hitting you with the juiciest bitter chip on low heat smell with a unique antique zestiness. Swipe this oil alongside your most favourite Hindi oil and contemplate.
Once applied the oil opens with a bouquet of purple florals, I've never smelt these notes in a Hindi oil, think Jasmine, blue lotus and lilies. Though there's florals present backstage there is always an antique piercing woodiness, like an antique furniture store, old ancient maps and manuscripts. There's bright shimmering grapefruit peel, freshly cut pineapple and exotic guava. The middle stages lean towards equatic notes with fresh Ceylon tea, aniseed, cardamom and the spice markets of Assam, the chip on low heat aroma is present from start to finish in this oil. The base notes settle with a mature, cherry pipe tobacco vibe with that addictive classical bitter sweet Hindi drydown. There's so much more to this oil and my description is very limited, I simply cannot do it justice. All I know is this is a must-have oil and once sold out, mark my words people will be searching for it. The most amazing Hindi oil and one I will not be letting go of my personal stash once it's sold out. This oil could command a 2500$ price tag but you all know what Habzoud offers.
