The idea behind this oil was to marry my two favorite regions, Vietnam and India, to produce something very special. Using incense grade raw material from agalocca and sinensis species of woods, combined in an aromatic symphony, which will have your nose glued to your wrist all day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI'm a big fan of codistillations as they capture and unite two very different profiles in harmony, both complementing and reverberating off one another. The ratio of wood used in this oil is 60% Hindi 40% Vietnamese. It's a wild oil and one of the most unique oils I've smelt to date. The sheer quality of this oil is evident with just one sniff off the dipstick. The piercing, bitter equaticness cuts like a katana sword and sends shock waves from the nose to the mind, eventually hitting the soul. If you like the top-notch diesel vapour quality in an oil, this is right up your alley. Whether you're new to Oud or a seasoned veteran, there's no doubting this is what the highest quality of Oud smells like.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe colour of the oil is very unique, almost a light golden yellow with a slight tint of green. This oil is so complex with solid projection and lasting power. It really requires sitting down and studying to really discover all the mysteries contained within it. When I smell it, other than smiling, it really makes me think about what exactly it is that I'm smelling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOff the dipstick, you are hit with a tsunami of fizzy, bitter equatic diesel notes. There is also a lot of grapefruit, lime peel, mango peel and a slight tropical sweetness. Once applied, the Hindi element shines through with sweetness of dry hay, fresh cookie dough with a touch of vanilla. There's an addictive note of fresh whipped ice cream with a spicy undertone. A very unique note of almonds dressed in bitter spices. The Vietnamese character opens in the mid stages with a clean medicinal bitterness, zesty fruits with gentle wisps of agar smoke. There is also a heavy dose of purple florals with a golden resinous backbone. The oil then dries down to a very old vintage vibe with dusty old books, ancient agarwood resin, and a zesty sparkle, imagine piece of king grade wood on a subtism with that Hindi sweetness lurking in the background. There's so much more to be found and this oil will take you on a real journey. Each region complements and carries the other in dare I say perfect harmony, such a bright, lively yet rounded oil.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a new-gen clean Hindi with Vietnamese DNA, one that shows how two regions with different characteristics can work so well together.
